Hello! I can't believe it is already September! I honestly don't know where 2018 has gone. I do know, however, that it has been a very busy year. In addition to the release of my latest book, "Faith is like Chocolate", I have been busy with a large number of freelance and ghostwriting projects. I was blessed beyond words to assist a young mother share her story of triumph over sexual abuse, her unimaginable grief because of the negligence of her baby's caregiver, and how God used all of these things to bring her to him in humble faith and obedience.
I am also very excited to be starting another interesting project--one that only God could have orchestrated. Earlier this month (September), my phone rang. It was an eighty-something Armenian woman who 'found me' by reading the devotions I write for a Bible verse a day app. Because of that she read my books and prayed that if it was God's will, that I would help her tell her amazing story of courage and faith. From growing up in a war-torn country where bombings were the norm, to coming to America to raise her children in safety and freedom...this book is sure to touch the hearts and lives of everyone who reads her story.
Faith is like Chocolate is a devotional book for tweens and teens. and is available in paperback and digital reader formats. By using things like chocolate, chapped lips, pizza, the three little pigs, and a bunch of other things kids can relate to, the Word of God comes alive in a real and relevant way. Readers will be better able to understand why a personal relationship with God is so important. Below is a link to the book:
If you know or follow me, you know that 20% of all book sales from each of my books goes to a ministry or non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in need. This means when you purchase one of my books, you too will be helping someone in need. For example:
I am INCREDIBLY excited to have partnered with Dogwood Ranch by donating 20% of the sales of "Through the Eyes of a Shepherd" to this much-needed ministry. DOGWOOD RANCH is as community-style foster home which provides a permanent place for kids to call home. Their HEALING REINS ministry offers equine therapy to the children living there, as well as other children in need of emotional healing and encouragement.
Proceeds from the sale of "All my love, George...Letters from a WWII hero" are currently being donated to the Missouri Military History Museum in Jefferson City. This non-profit organization works tirelessly to celebrate the brave men and women who have served, fought, lived, and died for this great country of ours. The museum also works diligently to educate people young and old on the history of our military and to instill a respect and appreciation for our military.
