The Latest from Darla
I am currently working on several ghostwriting and freelance projects for clients on topics ranging from a kindergarten curriculum to helping the survivor of an abusive childhood tell their story in an effort to help others. I am also privileged to be able to share real-life stories of faithful Christians with on a website for young people each week, as well as my ongoing work creating weekly Bible study lessons.
As if all that wasn't enough, I am putting the finishing touches on my next book, "Faith is Like Chocolate". This devotional book weaves a common thread of spiritual growth and Godliness in and around chocolate, cheese pizza, the movie, "A Christmas Story", "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs (book), and several other things. I know...who'd a thunk it, right? So be watching for more on that in early 2018!
If you know or follow me, you know that 20% of all book sales from each of my books goes to a ministry or cause. This means when you purchase one of my books, you will be helping the following ministries and organizations:

LODGE OF HOPE provides free hunting and fishing events to wounded veterans. They lodge also sponsors family retreats and times of R&R for wounded veterans and their loved ones.
Beginning next week through the first several months of 2018, 20% of the sales from "Love, Momma D" will be donated to the Sanders family to help with care and ongoing needs of caring for their one year-old son, Logan, who has SMA (Spinal Muscular Atrophy)--a genetic disease that is progressively and systematically robbing Logan of any and all voluntary muscular movement; including the muscles needed to move their arms and legs, hold their head up, swallow, and even breathe.

"Through the Eyes of a Shepherd" is a devotional book reminding us of the blessings that come from being God's sheep. You will discover that when we are trusting and obedient as sheep are--willing to be led instead of doing things our way, life is good and just as it should be.
