"All my love, George...letters from a WWII hero" is a collection of written by Army Medic, George Burks, to his parents and little brother. The letters begin in boot camp and end about a week prior to his death in the Battle of Luzon in the South Pacific. In addition to George's letters, the little brother he was writing to, who is now in his 80s, shares his thoughts and memories of being a Gold-Star family, his brother, and the way life was in this unmatched period in history. He also reminds us of the respect and gratitude due to this Greatest Generation.
"Through the Eyes of a Shepherd" is a collection of life-lessons I learned in the years I spent as a shepherd--lessons that remind us of the truth that we are God's sheep and of God's desire for us to be as trusting and compliant as these gentle animals.
"Love, Momma D" is a collection of blog posts from my parenting blog, "Because Momma D Says" www.mommadsays.blogspot.com. Each of the true stories reminds parents of the importance of loving our children unconditionally and how to get to the heart of parenting from the heart.
"Faith is like Chocolate is a devotional for tweens and teens. Using things kids can relate to--things like food, movies, and everyday situations, "Faith is like Chocolate" helps kids understand why having a relationship with the LORD is the only way to do life and do it well.
